European Documentation Centre
European Documentation Centre located in the Main Library of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is a part of the Europe Direct – the information network of the European
Commission. The Library`s EDC is organizationally located in the structure of the Scientific Information Department.
The purposes of the functioning of the EDC include assistance in supporting and consolidating education and research in the field of European integration. It provides information on the European
Union and specific areas of its policy, identifying available sources of information, assisting in finding scientific materials, and participating in the debate about the European Union - possibly
with other European information centres and information networks.
In collections of the EDC, users will find publications on European integration, education, social and regional policy, agriculture, environment, energy and transport, as well as statistical
publications and bibliographies, supplemented by information booklets and European guides.
